Happy Birthday to Us!

Nine years ago today, Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies was born. Actually, it was simply Elephant Trunk, as at that time we were not aware that people would not know what the heck we were about without adding the Moving Supplies part.

There were a number of things of which we were not aware on that day. We were not aware that you do not just go live and be found easily and immediately on Google. We were not aware that someone else was also renting reusable moving boxes in the Dallas area (they are no longer about, but we are still not alone - which is good). And we were especially not aware that we should write blogs about green moving supplies for the Dallas Metroplex.

We are plenty aware now, though. What we are aware of is that still, after nine years of Elephant Trunk Moving Supplies, there remains a relative few who are aware of renting eco-friendly boxes for moving in the Dallas area. We are aware that the best-laid plans do not consistently apply to moving, which is why we tag six extra days to our customers' moves. We are aware of how not only our affordable moving boxes are easier to pack, but also, they often take an hour or more off a move, thereby saving our customers money. And what we are especially aware of is that we have the best customer base around. Our customers - our people - are enthusiastic, excited, and they know they are in on something that is going to make their lives easier. This matters greatly to us, as we know that with delivery almost always, we are coming into a positive situation.

So, after nine years of providing sustainable packing solutions to the Dallas Metroplex, we have gained much wisdom. Of course, it is the wisdom of a nine-year-old, so we are still working on it, but on the whole, we know what we are doing, and we do it well. It has been a fun ride, Dallas, and we look forward with great excitement to serving you into our tenth year with the finest of eco-conscious moving supplies. Thank you!
